Purpose: This screen-recorded video is a 5-minute tutorial on how to find and select a business card template in Canva, as well as how edit the template's colors, fonts, and graphics.

Business Problem: For freelancers, business owners, or other individuals, advertising their services in today's fast-paced world can be challenging. When connecting with clients, efficiency and clarity of the purpose of the work they provide is necessary.

Solution: Business cards allow freelancers and business owners to share their contact information in a simple, yet creative, format, either digitally or print. Having these files or cards on hand can allow these individuals to market their skills and connect with clients more easily.

Video: Preparing Your Home for Foster Kittens

Tools Used: Vyond, Canva

Purpose: This storyboard accompanies a 2-minute video built in Vyond. This video also supports a full eLearning course created in Rise. This document includes description of the visuals/graphics, script/audio, and programming/animation notes.

Business Problem: First-time volunteers who want to take on the responsibility of hosting a foster cat family have shared with Safe Haven’s employees and volunteers that they don’t feel they are given adequate instruction when they have their initial foster consultation, and are therefore hesitant to follow through with the process. As a result, Safe Haven’s number of volunteers is dropping, and simultaneously, the number of cat families coming into the humane society is increasing.

Solution: First-time foster volunteers will learn exactly how to prepare their home for foster kittens, so that they are able to meet Safe Haven’s mission of caring with confidence. As a result, Safe Haven will gain more consistent foster volunteers.

Job Aid: Welcoming New Residents

Purpose: This infographic is a supplemental resource for the Articulate Storyline 360 module, supporting learners with the details of new resident orientation.

Business Problem: Prospective residents of Willowbrook Heights have shared reviews on apartment search websites that newer property managers often lack the detailed knowledge needed to answer questions related to specific property features and components of the leasing agreement. As a result, prospective residents have chosen to look for apartments elsewhere or experienced frustration in trying to find answers on their own.

Solution: Property managers will gain the knowledge and skills to answer prospective residents’ questions with accuracy and confidence, in addition to leading the process of signing on new residents in a smooth and professional manner. In turn, Willowbrook Heights will receive more positive reviews from prospective and new residents.
